Description:
In Thandarampattu Block, development works worth ₹10 crore have begun. Roads, drains, and public pathways are being renewed to improve access to schools and temples. The Collector emphasized eco-friendly materials and pre-monsoon completion.

Relevance: Strengthens the Green Mobility and Eco-Infrastructure axis of the Arunachala Heritage Project, supporting long-term resilience for rural communities.

Subproject: Collector’s Inspection & Public Monitoring
Description:
District officials visited multiple sites to assess progress on sanitation and road safety. The visit highlighted transparency and environmental accountability.
Partners: Collectorate Office, Taluk Engineers, local NGOs
Relevance: Contributes to the “Good Governance” strand of the Heritage Matrix – ensuring that environmental and cultural management remain community-driven.

Description:
